This private internal guide is for Darling Library Staff reference. These library policies inform the practices of the Darling Library of Hope International University.

About IBC

                            The Crossmont Bible Institute (CBI) is an educational institution of HIU that prepares leaders for Christian ministry in Latino-Hispanic churches. CBI grants two certificates, offering extension classes online as well as at multiple locations in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. 

CBI students are considered not-degree-seeking students and are not issued HIU ID numbers nor HIU email addresses.

  • The Institute is administered by Enrique Gonzalez at their Montclair headquarters.
  • Dr. TIm Dalley is the Dean of the Pacific Christian College of Ministry and Biblical Studies

Library privileges :

  • When registering a CBI student for library borrowing privileges, verification of enrollment is made by contacting the CBI administrative office.
  • A government-issued photo ID is required.
  • WMS patron type: Guests. 
  • Library staff may log them in to Information Commons computers using a generic login if they are registered in WMS.
