Information Commons

The Information Commons, located on the 2nd floor of the Darling Library, is a research center and computer lab available for Hope International University student, faculty, and staff use during all hours of library operations.

Trained staff are available to assist with printing and some technical troubleshooting.

Network access is required to log in to the IC computers, the library's WiFi, and the PaperCut printing service.

WiFi

The library's wireless network is managed and maintained by the Information Technology department. Library personnel can give you the WiFi passcode. Contact IT if you have trouble connecting to the network.

Printing

Printing is available using the the Information Commons computers or your personal laptop:

  • Black & White - 5¢/page (10¢ 2-sided)
  • colo- 15¢/page (20¢ for 2-sided)

Students may use the PaperCut system with their ID card.

Scanning

Flat bed scanners are available for use in the Information Commons. Images can be saved as pdf or jpg in black and white or color.
