Orange County Public Library System
With over 30 different branches, the OC Public library system provides access to over 2.5 million items and free interlibrary loan services for material not owned by the library (the lending library may charge a fee though).
Biola University Library
Biola provides courtesy cards to community patrons. They have an excellent collection of theology, biblical studies, and ministry material. Check with the Biola library for current pricing for a courtesy card.

Borrowing Privileges at the Darling Library

If you are local, you may want to set up a library patron account to borrow books from the Darling Library in Fullerton, California. You may apply for borrowing privileges by bringing a government issued picture ID to the library's Circulation Desk and filling out a Darling Library Guest Patron Information form with the following information:

Name
Address
Phone number
Email address
University ID number

Verification of enrollment is required. It could take two or three business days for processing.

As a SALT student, you will be permitted to check out up to five books at a time for 30 days.

Setting up your Library Patron Account Online

After you have been added into the WMS library system as a Patron (see above,) you will be able to borrow books and enable your Library Patron Account to place books "on hold" from off campus so you can pick them up at the library later.

How to search the library catalog for books only...

If you live near the Fullerton campus and would like to look up books to check out from the Darling Library at Hope International University, use the step by step instructions below to search for books only within our catalog (WorldCat Discovery).

Go to the Library Home Page at http://library.hiu.edu and click the Advanced Search link under the search box.

Enter your search term into one of the search boxes and change the search index to the left of the search box as necessary (Keyword, Title, Author, etc).
Change format from All Formats to Book.
Change location from All Libraries to Hope International University.
