Exegesis is a critical explanation or interpretation of the Bible. Exegetical Bible commentaries provide an explanation or critical interpretation of a text. They include detailed analysis of word meanings, grammar, and so forth.
Highly technical. Complex methods of exegesis used: source criticism and form criticism. End of every passage has bibliography for more resources for that passage.
One set is shelved together in 220.7 S667. Other copies are found shelved with other commentaries on each book of the Bible (i.e., 1&2 Kings - 222.507).
