Access to Research Databases such as ProQuest and EBSCOhost are restricted by license agreements with vendors. In most cases, the library pays for subscriptions based on our reported number of FTE (full time equivalent) students. It is our responsibility to provide access only to HIU students, staff, and faculty.
Anyone using a computer on the HIU campus will have access to these databases through IP recognition. Remote access is restricted to HIU students, staff, and faculty through EZproxy.
