Location and Parking
Library Parking & Campus Map
Turn onto Titan Drive from Nutwood Ave. and follow it to the end. Visitors may park in marked spaces of the Titan Lot for one hour. Parking may be extended by calling Campus Safety at (714) 253-2643 (or from any campus phone, call ext. 7333).
Books in Circulation (1st floor)
Books in the Main collection may be checked out. The Oversize section is located at the end of the Main collection. Reference and Reserve materials may only be used inside the library. Print Reference books do not circulate.
The library has about 150 current print periodical subscriptions shelved along the wall near the front of the 1st floor. Many of these are also available online.
Audiobooks are inter-shelved with print books in the Main collection.
DVD videos are shelved on the 1st floor at the end of the Main book stacks.
Physical Holdings - What's Inside the Darling Library?
The Darling Library has over 65,000 items arranged by the Dewey Decimal Classification system including print books, audio-books, videos, CDs, and other materials.
The library has plenty of study areas for group and individual use on both floors as well as comfortable seating on the mezzanine.
A Student Library Assistant is on duty at each of the service points on the 1st and 2nd floor during all hours of operation and a professional librarian is on site during normal business hours.
Copying and Scanning
Faculty may use the copy machine in the Library Technical Services Office on the 2nd floor for photocopying and digital scanning. The same copy code used campus-wide works here.
